Great location, wonderful staff, nice bar. Reasonable bus service to Sligo and Ballyshannon.

We had a wonderful 2 days at the Pier hotel. Paid for a room upgrade which was well worth it as the room and bed were really comfortable and the view was stunning.Didn't get to meet Michael the manager but his brilliant team really looked after us throughout! The staff here are such an asset to this lovely hotel. We look forward to seeing you all again in the future. Thanks again. Colin Shanks
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Only niggle was not having proper toilet roll in the room. Really don't get why you would have those 1sheet type dispensers in a lovely hotel room.

I just love this hotel.. it is such a nice place to stay..it’s homely and everything is done right. Customer service is pitched nicely..it’s friendly but not over done. I always enjoy staying g in the Pier. I had a beautiful view of the pier this time. Great secure car park too

The room was excellent and very well laid out. I liked the fact that we had a great view of the surrounding area. All the staff I dealt with were very good and helpful.l

Michael & his team were first class: reception, breakfast & restaurant staff were all polite, approachable & courteous plus staying in such a beautiful location has given us wonderful memories to treasure

Pizza bought bases & fries were poor But we had the cauliflower steak which was outstanding compliments to the chef

A great location with views of Donegal Bay and Mullaghmore harbour. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem offering great value for a solo traveller.
