Great location overlooking the harbour with very welcoming and friendly staff and a beautiful dining room with panoramic views of Donegal Bay. Very reasonably priced for the solo traveller!

The close proximity to the beach and the harbour and the views and the setting is spectacular, we just love Mullaghmore. Its our favourite place.

Room was perfect, bar was lively and room had a fan provided which is a must in the warm weather if there is no air conditioning. Staff very friendly and helpful .

The location and the people! I turned out, against my own wishes, a really challenging client, and the understanding and helpfulness of the two ladies at reception were exceptional. Unforgettable the young lady on the evening of my arrival coming up to my room with a carafe of ice-chilled water! Equally all the staff at breakfast war remarkably friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful surroundings. Clean bedrooms just a pity there is no air conditioning in rooms but otherwise brilliant

Location was perfect with cows roaming the beach in the morning.

The noise coming from downstairs outside sitting on Friday night was unbearable till 1am when it stopped. Maybe provide earplugs in the rooms that is directly above the outside sittings.

The Pier Head Hotel is perfectly situated, allowing easy access to the beach, coastal and cliff walks. It is also provides easy reach to nearby Benbulbin trail, Glencar waterfall together with W. B. Yates heritage and his, and his wife's, final resting place

Very pleasant staff in the hotel.lovely food and lovely selection for breakfast.my room had 2 windows both looking out onto the bay so this was a fantastic bonus and realy made my stay for me

So easy to book, location great, staff were so helpful and lovely to deal with. Breakfast excellent and dinner in the restaurant was amazing- beautiful views while eating fabulous seafood dishes and delicious cheesecake for dessert.

Had a great stay in Pier Head Hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed a lovely meal too. Mullaghmore is a beautiful place and so clean. Would highly recommend a visit

The Staff are just fantastic, from Reception to Bar staff and Dinning Room. Food excellent and service. Hotel situated in such a beautiful place.

In the cold windy weather in June (!) the Pier Head is a warm and welcoming haven. The location of the hotel by the harbour and the view from the dining room looking out on Donegal Bay, are so inspiring and uplifting. It wasn't my first visit and definitely won't be my last.
