Always like how easy it is to stay at Pier Head .It has everything minus the fuss. The rooms I have stayed in are lovely n spacious , fabulous views , clean and restful. The staff are always most accommodating. friendly and welcoming which is why I return again n again.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
I would like to see more variety in the restaurant.. menu, as in a greater selection of fresh veg. every evening. ( and tasty salad options) Also.there is a sad lack of olive oil n vinaigrette dressings...a basic I wd think. Also A tasty cheese board option, small quantities, 3 varieties maybe and crackers would improve the Menu. Only a well intended suggestion, not a criticism.

Good quality accommodation, and facilities, friendly staff, excellent food in a wonderful setting and proximity to a most beautiful beach.

Al of the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The food was very good. We had an enjoyable stay in the hotel. The location was great.

I love the location and how quiet it is. The hotel is beautiful, food was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly. We've come at least once a year now for the past 3 years.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The only negatives I could give are a lack of air conditioning in warm weather. We had windows open, but due to the weither having no breeze, we couldnt cool the room enough to sleep. The other 2 rooms I've stayed in before, the bed was very comfortable, in this room however both the double and single bed mattresses were very uncomfortable

Loved the sea view room with doors opening on to terrace with table and chairs for guests.

There was a warm friendly welcome on arrival & again as we departed. We enjoyed the banter & craic in the restaurant, & the location is wonderful. Would we return? Cinnte!

Enjoyable stay overall. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful

Bar food could be served a bit later. We had dinner earlier in the day and would have liked to avail of a snack later in the evening. Not many availble places in the vicinity

For a 3* hotel the Pier Head delivers excellent value for money. Staff are very friendly & helpful, however be aware that rooms are not serviced daily. The hotel setting at the harbour is lovely. The view of Donegal bay from the dining room is just stunning, in any weather. It’s a great base for an active outdoor type holiday.

Very good value for money, clean room and a great breakfast. Views from the room were breathtaking.
